BANFF LOCATION FAQs

Do you have designated parking spaces for clients, or should I plan for street parking?

We have limited street parking available. There are public parking lots within walking distance. 

Are there any accessibility considerations I should be aware of when visiting your studio?

Our entrance is not wheelchair accessible without assistance, as we have steps. However, our tattoo and piercing rooms are spacious, and can accommodate a wheelchair. If you are in a wheelchair and need assistance, please call ahead and we will make sure there is a staff member available to help.

What public transportation options are available for reaching your studio in Waterloo?

Our studio is easily accessible by bus.

Is your studio easily accessible via bus, train, or other forms of public transit?

Yes!

Are there any specific directions or routes I should follow when using public transportation to reach your studio?

• Route 1: Sulphur Mountain.
• Route 2: Tunnel Mountain both stop at Downtown Wolf West, which is less than a 5 minute walk to the shop.

Can you recommend any local businesses or attractions near your studio in Waterloo?

There’s a lot to do in this cozy mountain town, especially within walking distance! Here are our picks:

• Central Park- Right in the centre of town, and just a quick 10 minute walk from us, this park has great views of the mountains and the Bow River.
• The Banff Pedestrian Bridge is a 15 minute walk from the studio and The Banff Sign and Fenland Trailhead is a 15 minute walk from our studio.

Are there any restaurants, cafes, or shops nearby where I can grab a bite to eat or relax before or after my tattoo appointment?

If you’re looking for a restaurant, The Banff Grizzly House is a staple for carnivores. Famous for their fondue and steaks, they also serve dishes that are a little more unconventional. On their menu you’ll find alligator, rattlesnake, ostrich, frog, buffalo, wild boar, elk, caribou and venison. Of course, there are some less adventurous options available too. If that’s not your cup of tea, we also suggest Magpie & Stump. They serve tacos, burritos, enchiladas and over 40 tequilas. They have lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, so there’s something for everybody!

Do you have any suggestions for accommodations if I'm traveling from out of town for my tattoo session?

We suggest staying at The Banff Ptarmigan Inn. The Location is great, just a block away from our studio and the downtown area.  The rooms are cozy, and the staff members there are always very friendly. Their in-house restaurant is also very good. Try the pizza!
